About Us

Gettravelwise.com is funded by Sewta, the South East Wales Transport Alliance, which is a consortium of ten local authorities - the councils of Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Newport, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Torfaen and the Vale of Glamorgan.

Sewta was established in 2003 to carry out the functions of these local authorities in public transport and related transport matters.

Working together with industry partners and the Welsh Assembly Government, the core aim of Sewta is to work for better coordinated and more effective transport for people and businesses in South East Wales.
