The service, which currently runs hourly from Cowbridge to Talbot Green via Ystradowen, will run until Saturday 28 May 2011.
Cllr Jeffrey James, cabinet member for planning and transportation, said:
"This is a further blow to local bus services within the Vale of Glamorgan, happening at the same time as Veolia announcing its withdrawal of local bus services and school transport. The Council only has limited funds available to assist with providing local bus services and it will need to consider provision in this area as part of its local bus service review which is due to be implemented in September 2011."
