Cycle Training Wales’s recycling project has been nominated in the ‘innovation’ category of the Welsh recycling awards.
Cardiff Cycle Workshop takes unwanted bikes and fully refurbishes them for resale. The bikes include everything from boneshakers to retro classics.
The Innovation Award is given to organizations which successfully apply new ideas to help the environment through recycling.
The prize is awarded by Cylch, the Wales Community Recycling Network, which provides information, advice, and support to existing and emerging community recyclers across Wales.
